National recognition validates Greenbeam's capability-first approach to solving workforce shortages while opening fairer access to opportunity.

Greenbeam has been named the National Winner of the Diversity category at the 2026 AIIA iAwards, Australia's longest-running technology innovation awards program.
The award recognises Greenbeam's platform for its ability to embed diversity into workforce decision-making by changing how organisations define, measure and deploy capability.
Most organisations still rely heavily on job titles, qualifications and career history when hiring, promoting and developing people. As technology and AI rapidly reshape work, these proxies provide an incomplete picture of workforce capability. They can leave critical skills hidden and reinforce existing patterns by repeatedly directing opportunity towards people who have already held similar roles.
Greenbeam enables organisations to define the capabilities work requires, build evidence-based profiles of the capabilities people possess, identify transferable skills and gaps, and create practical pathways into priority work.
This capability-first approach helps employers make stronger decisions about workforce planning, development and mobility. It also broadens access to opportunity by allowing people to be considered for what they can do and learn, rather than only for what they have done before.
“We did not set out to build diversity as a separate feature,” said Greenbeam CEO Cia Kouparitsas.
“We set out to fix a workforce model that no longer serves organisations or their people. When decisions are based on visible, evidenced capability, businesses can find and grow the skills they need, and people who have historically been overlooked gain access to opportunities. Diversity becomes an inherent outcome of a better model.”

Greenbeam thanked the AIIA, the national judging panel, category sponsor Dell Technologies, and the customers, partners and team members who have contributed to the platform's development and impact.
